Cranckcase Ventilation Filters
Current tough emission regulation requires manufacturers to reduce the emission values. Since crankcase emissions can contribute up to 25% to total emissions, filtration is critical for the protection of the environment.
The most important effect of crankcase filters is the filtration of aerosol particles. Those particles are in between the 0.2 and 0.3-nanometers size range. The filtration of those particle sizes requires advanced technology filters.
With the right filtration products, crankcase gases will be efficiently cleaned from those aerosol particles.
There are two types of crankcase filters used to filter harmful gases: open or closed crankcase ventilation.
Crankcase filters reduce the oil consumption of engines and the harmful effects of the gases on the environment.
Crankcase ventilation filters should be replaced with new ones at the intervals specified by the manufacturer.
